Reading

The book I read is The story of art， by Gombrich, E. H. (Ernst Hans), 1909-2001.

This is a very interesting book. The author has used many real examples to express his views. While I understand these views, I have also accumulated a lot of knowledge. This knowledge will be of great help when I create.

After reading this book, I also have a deeper understanding of art. For example, a work of art is a carrier that contains the artist’s thoughts. Although it sometimes does not look like an ‘art’, its existence value is not only its appearance, but also the connotation that the author wants to express.

Artwork does not have an inherent concept, and there is no such thing as'it should be'. Past experience and inherent concepts cannot restrict artwork, even if it does not seem to be understood by the public.

This is a thought-provoking book. His citations account for 20% of the all book, which is enough to show the author's rich knowledge and the essence of the book.
